How to Fix Undermount Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink

Undermount stainless steel kitchen sink – An initial drainage leak diagnosis is best done by getting under the sink and testing connections. If the connections are tight and the leak remains, connect the drain pipes and check for broken pipes, cracked seals, obstructions or other problems. Correcting problems with household plumbing is actually very easy if you can find the right spare parts.

Instructions

Empty the undermount stainless steel kitchen sink of all remaining water to reduce the risk of drip. Place a catch pan or a small bucket under the drain. Test the drop of common nuts to see if they are dense. If they are tight where the leak occurs, screw the nut and nut at the end of the p-trap and remove it. There may still be water in the p-trap; drain the p-trap into the bucket or drip box. Check the pipe ends, nuts and washers for cracks, deterioration or other signs of damage. Also check the zinc tube and the tube enters the wall for damage or deterioration.
